Anytime you are dealing with companies like this, it is crucial to record every conversation and to know your rights. My experience with We Move Anywhere LLC proves exactly why.

Lisa, the customer service manager who often boasts about her years with the company (as if that is a flex...lol), not only LIED to my bank but also lied to me directly by saying that she NEVER, ever, ever, ever, ever....told me that I would not get a refund. But she did and I found that recorded call. Gotta love a bold-face liar right? On this call, after I asked her for a refund, she flatly responded: “Refund for what? You are not getting a refund.” Yet later, she tried to deny ever saying this, insisting that I must have confused her with someone else. Imagine a manager throwing her own staff under the bus just to cover herself. She even went so far as to claim that I must have been talking about “Kristi,” another employee, which was completely untrue. That attempt to shift blame to Kristi was also captured on a recorded call.

Fortunately, I had the recordings. My coordinator and I went through hours of calls until we located Lisa’s call back in May 2025. Once this recording was sent to my bank, my refund was finally approved—proof that I had been telling the truth all along. Without that evidence, I would have been left with nothing, because Lisa had submitted documentation falsely claiming my move was “fully completed and delivered.”

Lisa also told me she was “speaking for the higher-ups” and that I would never get my money back. Dana, another representative, even suggested I “go ahead and file complaints with the BBB,” brushing me off instead of resolving the issue.

Here’s the most important lesson: Always file a claim against the company’s surety bond. We Move Anywhere LLC is bonded under a BMC-84 Surety Bond, and their bond provider is Liberty National Financial Corp. (Claims Department, PO Box 6089, Norman, OK 73071). Their email is: claims.bmc85@gmail.com. The surety bond company exists to protect customers when brokers like this steal deposits or refuse refunds. This information is public and can be verified directly through the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). I never would have pursued it had Lisa, with her brazen disposition, not encouraged me to get an attorney and have them reach out to her. So thank you, Lisa! Contacting an attorney was the best advice you ever gave me kiddo!

Between my bond complaint and the recorded calls with Lisa and Dana, the truth came out. The bank even apologized after reviewing the evidence, acknowledging that THEY had been lied to by We Move Anywhere LLC.

Lisa and I am naming her because she stated on this same call that she speaks for the entire company because she has been working there for 9 years (as if that is a good thing..lol) tried to take over $1,200 for a move that never happened and would have succeeded if I hadn’t fought back and stayed up for two nights straight looking for that call. For all those wondering this business is going under and will steal your deposits. Check out reddit, there are so many people that have been ripped off from this company. I also had my deposits stolen. Many people have reported the same. The business is also losing their insurance for nonpayment. The billing department employees are also the absolute worst and will refuse to help anyone. This company is a total scam and has been and will continue to be taken to small claims court.

They packed everything securely and arrived on time for both the loading and unloading process. The movers were careful with every item, including fragile glass furniture and delicate artwork. They efficiently placed everything in the new house without wasting any time. The team was friendly, professional, and ensured the entire move was completed quickly. Everything was unpacked, and the furniture was placed exactly where it was needed. Very pleased with how everything turned out.

Moving from a two-bedroom apartment to a larger home after a recent renovation was smoother than expected. The crew handled heavy furniture with great care, especially the antique dining table. They arrived on time and worked efficiently to ensure all boxes and items were secured properly. At the new place, everything was placed exactly where it needed to be. The team even helped set up the basics like the bed and kitchen. Highly satisfied with the level of professionalism and service.

We Move Anywhere is a borderline scam. They don’t care about their customers or their customers belongings. They’re contractors who contract out the bottom of the barrel, worst, ethically challenged companies they can find (cheap) so that they can pocket the rest of the money that they charge you.

They don’t tell you that you might have to share a truck with a random person and their belongings (could have be bugs or roaches) the day of the move, if the movers are MIA, they won’t be able to get in contact with them and will tell you to just wait it out and will tell you to “grow up.” Even after not only did they confirm the pick up time and date but the moving company they contracted out confirmed the day of as well but didn’t show up.

You will never be in contact with the same person so you’ll have to explain your situation nemuomerus of times, and when one person says, “I’ll call you back with more information,” they won’t. What is the point of using contractors when they can’t get ahold of the people they contracted with? Also, the company they contracted out, Overland Moving company, has two star ratings and the movers who dropped off me stuff and said they get complaints all the time. These are the people We Move Anywhere, contracted out to handle my belongings. What happened when they contracted out a two star moving company? They broke 1000 dollars worth of my belongings. They also left items that was on my roster given to We Move Anywhere, including the box spring in my bed that they couldn’t fit on the truck….because they had another persons stuff on the truck. After my claim with the company and only gets .60 per lbs (which is in your contract with We Move Anywhere) ONLY .60 per 1 lbs ….don’t do it. Contact with a reputable company yourself. DON’T USE “WE MOVE ANYWHERE”

I would give it no stars if I could! Never ever hire this company! It has been an absolute nightmare from beginning to end! The compliance manager, Austin Lane, is a complete jerk. He was rude and condescending and he repeatedly told me he was there to help us but at the same time telling me that what I was told wasn’t true. He said he wasn’t trying to gaslight me while he was gaslighting me. He said that some of the mover’s 1st language isn’t English so it’s not their fault if they gave us the wrong information. Are you kidding me? The person we originally spoke to completely underestimated our move, we ended up doubling the price once the movers actually came bc of miscommunication on their end. Their job is to help us determine how much we have and there were so many things not mentioned or missed. I was literally told 10 different things by 10 different people within the company. They told us they would send 4-5 movers/packers, they sent 3…it took an extra day which was another nightmare, my kids and I were literally throwing things in boxes to help expedite the move because it was taking them so long. They left garbage, empty tape rolls, stickers, boxes, blankets and some of our stuff that I guess they just didn’t feel like packing. I was treated poorly and like I was a bother after I called to find out when our stuff would be delivered. We were told by the movers that our stuff would be delivered on a certain day. 2 weeks later we are finally receiving our stuff only to find out that they don’t really have a system for labeling so my husband and I had to go through each box and label what room they needed to go in to!?! They also started unpacking in our garage and we informed them that some of the things needed to go into other rooms and they said “we only move it once, we will not move it again.” I am appalled at not only their poor customer service, their inaccurate and complete disregard for the customer (we lived on air mattresses for 3 weeks when we were told it would only be a few days) their lack of communication, the way they treated us and the rudeness we received when discussing our concerns and dissatisfaction. No sympathy, no apologies, and telling us that we were at fault for not understanding the 10 different things we were told by 10 different people. It ended up being over $14,000 (we were originally quoted $7,000) for the worst moving experience we’ve ever had. (We’re a military family who had moved 7 times in the past 15 years, one being an overseas move) and now we are left with a house in complete disarray. Learn from our mistake, never, ever use this company!!!

Literally “lost” my mattress and box spring. I have delivery/drop-off sheet detailing such, and an email chain in which they stopped responding for an insurance claim. They also didn’t deliver/threw away a box of my kitchen stuff because there were dry goods in it (flour, sugar, cans) along with pots/pans because “raccoons got into it.” Did you store my belongings under a picnic table at a public park?!? Would explain the mattress - so poorly damaged they were embarrassed to deliver it. Do your research - there are several fake reviews clearly posted by Dylan(I think was his name) in which he responds with “thanks we are great!” HUGE SCAM. Several complaints with the BBB. DO NOT USE

Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs

I hired We Move Anywhere for a long-distance move and paid $870 upfront. On the scheduled move day (June 17, 2025), the movers showed up but refused to load my items, insulted me, and left without completing the job.

I contacted the company immediately and was promised a new crew would come on June 19. No one ever showed up, and since then, the company has refused to issue a refund for the services they never provided.

This company is highly unprofessional, unreliable, and untrustworthy. They caused me serious inconvenience and financial loss during an already stressful move. I would strongly advise against using We Move Anywhere for any moving services.

They handled my vintage furniture delicately, wrapping it thoroughly to avoid any damage. Boxes were stacked and labeled neatly for easy unpacking. The crew communicated well, keeping me updated at every step. I was amazed at how smoothly everything went without any stress. I highly recommend their services to anyone needing a reliable moving team.
